Med Tech Awards 2017: These are the winners
The domain of medical technology in Upper Austria is in desperate need of new experts. Both research institutes and companies are competing when it comes to hiring highly-skilled professionals. Three of these coveted prospective employees have been presented to the public in context of the 14th Forum Medical Technology in Linz.
Every visitor of this year’s Forum Medical Technology in Linz left the event with one important insight: To make the scientific and business region Upper Austria fit for the future in the field of medical technology, it is not only necessary to adapt common strategies, develop new manufacturing techniques and install agile methods of project planning: Organisations and companies in Upper Austria are also forced to find enough professionals who are able to advance developments in this domain.
Some of these highly-skilled workers are currently educated at the degree program Medical Device Technology at the FH Upper Austria. Every year, both master and bachelor graduates prove their eligibility for this job by writing brilliant theses. Some of these academic papers are of outstanding quality. To value these papers properly, the company GSM from Vienna grants an award to the three best theses of both the master’s and the bachelor’s degree program. The TIMed Center is proud to announce the winners of 2017. Congratulations to Klaus Weissenböck, Rebekka Hager and Florian Prammer.
